Craftsman Flair

The winner of the 2014 Pierce County Master Builders Association Remodeling Excellence Award for Best Kitchen.
A typical two-story, 1910 Craftsman with a “cut-up” first floor plan. The owners wanted an open concept kitchen/family room; and make it possible to use this as a “first-floor living” option. Removing the fireplace between the kitchen & family room, accommodates an 11’ island with seating area! The small powder room & laundry area is now a 3-piece bathroom with a curbless accessible shower, stacked washer & dryer & cabinetry. In the future, the dining room can become a large bedroom with original double pocket doors! From “1910 typical” to “2013 spectacular”! This home was on the Master Builder's Association of Pierce County's 2013 Tour of Remodeled Homes!
