What once was a house with the entertainment areas divided is now a unified, harmonizing open space. The kitchen lake-side windows were replaced with large Andersen windows to enhance the view outside and bring in more natural light into the house.
The cabinets for the kitchen, bathroom, and living room were all designed and fabricated in house by Jon who integrated modern touches to the construction (including the under cabinet LED light strip seamlessly merging with the face of the cabinet bottom). Topping the kitchen cabinets is a calacatta white quartz from LG. A beautiful blue-green glass mosaic tile draws beauty and a strong pop of color to the main wall. These pops of blue and green are further accented by the glass pendant lighting over the peninsula and island.
The bathroom vanity and living room built-in cabinets are both topped with solid surface, also fabricated in the shop. The living room also received new custom window sills made from the same material. Within the bathroom is a custom niche behind the vanity that provided an alcove for the mirror and a glass mosaic. LED light strips accentuate these features and are concealed within the edges of the wall recess.
Overall, a space that combines function with beauty and comfort!
