The passing of an old friend in the garden - a large black walnut tree - gave life to the homeowners' dreams of a nature-styled landscape. And so we worked together to create this quiet space. A meandering stone path. A pondless waterfall. A parade of stone groupings. A grove of trees and plants you often find in the lush gardens of the Pacific Northwest.

It is now a place to be reminded of the joy and gift of life. A place to contemplate when the rain falls and the sun shines. A place to smile.
