In renovating this historic home in Portland’s Eastmoreland neighborhood, Jenni Leasia Design honored the traditional 1930’s Colonial details while updating the home for modern conveniences. Previous remodels had segmented the rooms and created an oppressive Kitchen. The layout was opened for improved circulation and light. The Kitchen and Dining Room were joined via a cased opening and custom millwork, allowing for conversation and flow between spaces. New finishes and furnishings were selected throughout to create family spaces that are cozy, comfortable, and light filled.
