We just completed the final construction plans for this custom home project. The client’s own a property in Martic Township, Lancaster County, overlooking their family’s farm. The couple recently removed their existing double-wide home on the lot and decided it was time to build a custom home for their young family. The lot presented a unique building envelope, which helped define the overall shape & design of the home. Although the home plan is relatively conservative in size, about 2,500 sq. ft., it still offers a first floor master suite, an open floor plan layout throughout the living space, as well as two additional bedrooms on the second floor. To help stay within the initial budget, the plan was developed with an in-house gym utilizing the daylight basement, as well expandable bedroom space on the second floor level.
