My firm was awarded the opprtunity to create a new vision for this dark and outdated space.
Creativity and problem solving was needed to stay on budget of this extensive update/renovation.
Every detail was considered from the paint color and millwork on the wall, lighting, flooring, wallpaper, reclaimed wood, furnishings, accessories, to the artwork.

We opted for a palette that begins with a combination of soft natural hues, decorative accents for touches of color, pattern and texture. The main focal point was the beautiful stone fireplace…adding gorgeous millwork on walls and shiplap above the fireplace then enameling the woodwork, Benjamon Moore Simply White, added a fresh perspective, created a mood and we believe demanded attention!
Nautical map wallpaper back the bookshelves to blend the coastal chic style with classic Chinois elements in the room. Sprinkling touches of mixed metals in lighting and décor accessories to illuminate the area.

The coffered ceiling was another feature we wanted to accentuate using a darler shade of gray which brought dimension and interest to the high ceiling.

We used sleek comfortable furniture pieces that combine the perfect proportions with classic details.
Layering on the comfort with accents of rich tactile materials from soft leather, linen, driftwood and hair on hide. Pop of color with indigo, gray & cream plump pillows in variety of patterns and graphics for a creative mix. A powerful option to bring the room together with comfort and sophistication.

Final result, a mix of uncluttered and casually elegant dwelling that has a lived in feel which is… Simple, Comfortable but Stylish!
