The homeowners’ goal was to create a comfortable kitchen as the center of their busy family’s everyday life as well as a showplace for frequent semi-formal entertaining. As an avid cook, the lady of the house required a gourmet kitchen that would provide her a functional environment to create culinary feasts while hosting the daily onslaught of 2 pre-teenaged sons and everything that comes along with them. The A-1 design team functioned as a well-oiled collaboration; with interior designer Sabrina Simon and the homeowner, Starck created a handsome, transitional space that architecturally unified flow from one room to the other adding more light with magnificent dashes of joie de vivre.
