This project came with the welcome challenges of dovetailing together prefabricated dome “kits” with conventional building, creating functional, beautiful and comfortable divisions of private and public spaces for this musical family who love the outdoors …all with sustainability and local resources in mind. The home boasts the inclusion of solar hot water, thermal mass, low consumption mechanical and appliances, composting toilet and a grey water system.
