Built for a family with needs for storage and spacial organization in a clean european style.
From 80’s Track to European Modern
The goal for this nature inspired family of four was to increase storage and spacial organization, create a feeling of connectedness between rooms and utilize as much of the original design as possible while putting an individual stamp, reflective of its owners, on a house that looks just like its neighbors.
Projects:
Pop out front entry, expand side entry into garage for built in birch mudroom, remodel under stairs (new 1/2 bath, reading nook), remodel access to living room and stairway including addition of birch ply shelving and hand rail, reallocation of space for additional of storage customized with birch doors, in dining and living rooms, birch box beams and hearth to highlight other birch elements, new dark walnut-stained front french doors with frosted glass and birch interior doors, new lighting fixtures & hardware, new hand scraped walnut flooring throughout...
