Dunn Loring Entrance Drive

In late 2014, we received a call from a previous client, informing us that she had moved into a new home and wanted to replace her walkway and driveway with interlocking pavers, as we had done for her former home almost 8 years ago.

While the new home had a beautiful brick façade, it was lacking an interesting curb appeal, which not only makes a home pleasant to arrive at, but also increases home value and shortens time on market.

With that in mind, our head Landscape Architect, Alan, and Owner, Josh, created a new plan for the home that included replacing the small brick stoop, straight concrete walk, and asphalt driveway with Techo-bloc pavers. Replacing a standard black asphalt driveway with a paver driveway is an excellent way to get a pop of color, an interesting pattern, and a driveway that will last and look better for dozens for years.

In addition, a small circular front patio was installed to allow the client to sit in her front yard and converse with neighbors while lush front plantings were added to bring in more color and LED lighting was installed to allow the house to show its new beauty at night.
