East 6th St.
Our client approached us with this project not knowing if she would keep it as a rental or move in herself. After going back and forth, she ultimately decided to remodel and list as a Short Term Rental...and East 6th St. could not be a better location to do so! The remodel helped her list the property for far more than she would have gotten before the remodel. We started with the kitchen and knew that maximizing the storage space in this tight quarter would be of utmost importance and since the kitchen is the focal point to this small space, we wanted the cabinets to make a big statement. Knowing the cabinets are our focal point, we opted for a simple marble look quartz and a clean, gray backsplash. Clean, elegant and modern is how we would describe this space. In the bathroom next to the kitchen, we opted for matching cabinets and countertops. The master bath concrete floors were starting to show cracks and wear on the finish, we decide to lay a new tile to create a high contrast between our new shower tile. Where the shower sits now, there used to be an unsightly tub/shower combination. A floating vanity, quartz top, new plumbing fixtures and large new shower finish off the space nicely. Our client is beyond thrilled with the end result and she gets a ton of compliments from her short term renters as well.
