These empty-nesters were tired of caring for a 6000 SF home with acres of grounds, but they returned to the same architects to design this 20000 square foot power-house that includes a basement and elevator. The interior combines contemporary elements of ornate glass, polished, rich brown terrazzo floors and stainless steel fireplace surround. A slate roof and stone lintels create a more rustic exterior.
