The existing kitchen of this classic saltbox style home was a dark rectangle with only one window. After replacing a bearing wall with a structural beam, the kitchen, dining room, laundry room, and a bathroom were relocated. A wall of double-hung Andersen windows, in keeping with the original architecture, were installed, and now flood the area with natural light from the southern exposure.

Three years later we were asked to return for the entry way project, A paver pathway and garden wall now direct visitors to the new, dormer-covered front door.
