This entire home remodel was extensive and the result was stunning! This 1990's home transformed from a series of compartmentalized rooms, angled walls and multiple obstructions into a open conapt space with clear, straight lines and larger clearances. This project involved a 3ft kitchen addition to provide more cabinetry, counterspace and a new sink location overlooking the backyard, relocating a fireplace and removal of several walls, some of which were load bearing. Different ceiling heights due to both existing and new support beams made is difficult to create a cohesive ceiling, but we found a way to use it to our advantage to accent the kitchen area with a white ship lap ceiling detail. The master bathroom was transformed to have an oversize, zero threshold tiled shower with a large white oak double vanity with matte black plumbing fixtures. The entire home now has a cohesive design style by using similar finishes throughout the home.
