Entryway Remodel

The tired old 1970's heavy brick and trellis look was abandoned for a more appealing and grander covered entryway. All the dated, painted brick was covered with a nice light stucco with relief detailing

A more practical covered upscaled entryway to suite this large spread out rambler

Entryway Remodel

The existing house was painted concrete bricks with heavy timber trellis work and a low scale entryway with very little protection from the rain. This was the second or third remodel of this house built in 1975

Close up 3d view of the existing archway hidden behind the previous trellis. It was brick, and I designed a built up stucco covering to enhance the brick while covering it up. We also went for more glass and openness versus the previous dark windowless entrway.

The new roof is scaled up to the existing roof, and we extend that roof outwards another 12' to provide weather protection and a sense of entry. The curved entrway was part of the existing house, we just improved it. I also added some copper column cap accents to tie it with the copper chimney caps...
