The homeowners had just purchased the home and knew right away the kitchen was not living up to it's potential. It was a large room but didn't make use of the space well. There was too much unused space and a pantry facing the wrong way. By incorporating a large island that seats 5, they are able to make use of the expansive square footage. We also removed the built in pantry which enable us to elongate the range wall. The result is a "feature wall" with a 36" gas range and custom wood hood.
