My client was a first time home buyer. She purchased this condo that while it was in good condition, did not suit her taste at all. There was a navy blue wall in the entry, many contemporary light fixtures, carpet on the stairs and nothing flowed. We painted the walls, removed carpet, painted the stairs, changed light fixtures, wrapped a beam and added a fbarn door to her pantry. all these updates added an overall farmhouse feel, which she loves. The home reflects her personality and style. We were able to do this on a budget, shopping for clearance light fixtures and a lot of DIY.
