Silverknoll Family Room

This family room was overhauled. We began with the focal point of the fireplace. We removed the raised hearth and dated brick front which was a peachy beige brick. The face of the fireplace was enhanced with stacked stone veneer, a new mantel and surround were added to frame out the fireplace and give it a classic, timeless look. The hearth was replaced with a travertine tile. The wall to wall carpet was torn out, and replaced with a rich brown hardwood with lots of character. The television was mounted above the fireplace to keep one focal point. The room was painted a soft warm gray to give a soothing neutral backdrop. The furniture layout was reworked to enhance the functionality. New furniture, accessories, area rug and custom window treatments, complete the look.
