Fort Garry Transitional Kitchen

This busy family needed a more functional space. The fridge location was causing a bottleneck anytime someone went in the fridge. More counterspace was a must. Opening up the corner into the diningroom was important. And lots of glass to display their kitchenware was needed! We changed the window out so it was raised and would allow cabinets underneath. The window was also widened so that they had a great view of their backyard. We added 8 inches to the wall next to the new stove location allowing great cabinet space to be added! A combination of butcher block and quartz for countertops and two-toned cabinets with agreeable grey bases and white uppers makes for a warm and inviting space!
