Transcona Transitional Kitchen

This kitchen was dark and not working for this grown up family. With three adults using the kitchen, it was time for an update! Gorgeous medium-toned maple cabinets, quartz countertops, fabulous glass backsplash, new flooring, new lights (that actually turn on!) and a lot of fabulous, functional cabinet space! So happy to create this beautiful space for this wonderful family!
AFTER - although the footprint didn't change much (we only extended the cabinetry on the sink wall a few inches), we made the cabinetry much more functional! BEFORE - the kitchen was dark. The lighting wasn't working anymore. And there were two corners to lose everything!

AFTER - we expanded the pantry and the new stainless steel fridge, range and microwave make the space pop!

AFTER - we moved the dishwasher over towards the sink which allowed a bank of drawers to be added. Lots of more accessible storage. And look at the gorgeous LVT floor!

BEFORE - the overhead lights weren't working anymore and the kitchen was just too dark.

AFTER - a dark corner is now bright! We got the microwave off of the countertop and over the range, freeing up more countertop space! More drawers, a magic corner and undercabinet lighting make this corner useful and inviting.
