JGT was commissioned to plan, permit and design a marsh boardwalk at the prestigious Governors Park on Daniel Island for the City of Charleston. The project includes a ten (10) foot wide by approximately three hundred ten (310) foot long Boardwalk with two (2) approximately five (5) foot by twenty four (24) foot wildlife viewing platforms. The structural design consisted of an aluminum sub-frame with composite decking, timber top cap and stainless steel cable handrails and timber piles. The project was completed under budget.
