Jon Guerry Taylor & Associates was engaged to permit, design and provide construction observation for an approximately 1600 linear foot long timber sheet pile bulkhead to protect an existing private causeway from being undermined due to erosion. The project is located near the Stono River on Johns Island in Charleston County, South Carolina. The project included OCRM and Corps of Engineers permitting and engineering design, as well as close coordination with the Contractor, SCE&G as well as other utility entities through out the construction process.
