Hat Trick
A generation or two ago, parents were the ones who chose the décor for their kids bedrooms. Typically they provided the basics; a bed, dresser and maybe a desk, surrounded by Navajo white walls with a few posters tacked up. Now, interior designers are interviewing even the smallest home dwellers, getting their input on everything from paint shades to lighting options. How times have changed!
The little boy in charge of this project was an extremely bright preschooler with his own ideas about how to transform his parents boring home office space in to a cool bedroom. Bringing loads of experience as a pint-size sports fanatic, he knew he wanted a soccer theme, surrounded by his favorite primary colors. After finishing the bold paint application and adding a life size mural, the walls definitely cheered with excitement. By adding a “hat trick” of personalized touches, this kids room scores big.
