Designing around new, custom home construction can present challenges, but it also brings about the opportunity to make a statement. Starting with a blank slate on this project, one of the many objectives was to create a memorable powder room by expanding on the home's architectural features with Artisan touches.

Filled with energy and warmth, this Tuscan inspired powder room became a paradoxical blend of ruggedness and refinement. The focal point, an intricate bronze sink, is surrounded by chiseled stone, large golden copper rope tile, glass and stone mosaics and metal wainscoting. Each distinct element gives this powder room an earthy yet elegant feel. Soft lighting became especially important, so in addition to the Gothic hanging pendants, LED tape lights were installed above the floating ceiling for drama. Finally, a trowel-on specialty finish for the walls, hand-forged fixtures and simple accessories complete this luxuriously warm, European look in unforgettable style.
