This unique 4 story hillside property featured an 80's kitchen complete with pink laminate cabinets, shiny brass and failing bamboo flooring. A new layout opens up the kitchen and provides more usable space and storage. Because of the heavily wooded exterior, added skylights allow more natural light into the interior. Flat panel cabinets in a modern grey palette provide clean lines, texture and echo the tree filled exterior. Contrasting black and white Cesarstone quartz counter tops and porcelain flooring add visual interest and easy to maintain surfaces. To create subtle softness, a wavy textured back splash and curved Alvar Aalto pendants were incorporated.
