This home, built in the late 1800s was designed as a single family home. Over the years it was converted to a boarding house, then to apartments and finally became a victim of the recession and bank ownership. In partnership with our client and general contractor we restored this lovely home and added a new front porch to replace one long since demolished. This home is the winner of the 2016 Design and Preservation Award from the City of Evanston Historic Preservation Commission.
