Huntington Harbor
This home exudes a contemporary transitional style reflective of a Hampton's style home. It incorporates a casual mix of furnishings, with a color pallet based around neutrals, accented with blue and white. The key is balance, as a home that contains too much contemporary furniture will not fit in with the beach vibe, and likewise, a home that is too rustic or shabby will not reflect the sophistication of the area. We have used a mix of leather, velvets, chrome and rich walnut wood.
This is a very simple and unpretentious space, tailored for entertaining even the most discerning of guests. The space is accessorized with original art, plants, nautical touches, but careful to not overdo them, and make the space look "themed" or overdone in a contrived way.
Lighting is important in a coastal home, and there is plenty of it. We have kept windows as uncovered as possible, using modern roll shades to provide the needed privacy, but maintain a soft filtered natural light throughout the day.
