Our repeat clients came to us with the request that we turn an unused bedroom into a home office and also incorporate their cow hide rug in some fashion. We created an amazing space with industrial touches, yet we wanted to keep their traditional home in mind. This room with southern exposure was incredibly warm on summer days and we also needed to keep this mind during our design development.

Functional design details included:
- Removal of carpet and extension of Walnut floors for ease of office chair movement
- Ability to still resale home as a bedroom space - meaning no permanent desk or cabinetry
- Wainscot and full wall paneling design and grass cloth wall paper detail for a finished look
- Black out curtains and wood fan to keep hot air and sun out of space during warm summer afternoons
- Ability to keep an eye on the stock market with wall mounted TV
- Seating for conversation
- Inspirational client art feature wall
