The homeowners of this 1987 home bought with the intention of gutting the kitchen & formal dining room to create a functional open floor plan that would work for their growing family. The sunken living room floor was raised to create a cohesive space & ceiling beams and a beautiful floor-to-ceiling fireplace was added. The new galley style kitchen features a mosaic tile detail over the cooktop, white enameled cabinetry, quartz countertops and dark hardwood floors. The ceiling in the adjoining eat-in area was vaulted to bring in lots of natural light and maximize the lake views outside.
