Refined | Lower Level Finish
Our clients had a large basement full of surprises. When we first walked into the unfinished space we were incredibly surprised to see a large open room with 13' ceilings. Our first assumption was that it was a future sport court area, but the intention was always a home theater. However, the clients needs had changed since they built their home and they were looking for a multi-purpose space instead of a dedicated theater.
We pitched the idea of adding soffits, details and columns to break up the large room and they loved it. They also asked that we incorporate painted millwork, which needed to transition from the open staircase connected to the golden oak main level. We created a great transition and a wonderful functional layout for their lower level.
