We did a whole makeover on this cabin and really made it POP! The owner prefers sleeping in the loft, but there was no bathroom up there, which caused annoying trips downstairs at night. The added dormer gave plenty of room for a full bathroom with a walk-in shower. The new bathroom was located above the existing one downstairs by adding the plumbing connections and adding a slightly dropped ceiling to the downstairs bath. All finishes are natural wood to match. Outside we removed the old, rotting battens and sealed all seams before we replaced it all with new cedar. The roof was replaced with a fresh silver metal, the railings were reinforced and it all got a fresh coat of paint. The cabin now stands out as one-of-a-kind in the neighborhood!
