JWH Design/Build Projects Over the Years!

The design/build experience of the JWH Team spans over 20 years in Rye and surrounding towns. In both new construction and full renovations, JWH Design details have raised the bar for other builders to replicate: simulated divided light windows (not snap in grills), copper gutters, cedar shingle siding, belgian block curbing, and dramatic roof pitches can be seen in the first JWH projects in 1995. Highly functional flow of interior spaces, quality finishes, and of course, JWH Custom Kitchens, Baths and other millwork, are still a trademark of a JWH Home.

New home construction by JWH. This 8000 sf home was purchased as soon as the previous home was knocked down in 2007. Moving from NYC, these buyers were able to select all the finishes with the JWH Team and customize the spaces for their growing family.

Creative renovation keeping all the same exterior walls and roof lines. Aligning new windows and adding classic wood shutters, new shingle siding and trim, and relocating the main entry onto the property transformed the exterior.

The JWH renovation in Rye, NY and the first home of the JWH family. Originally a brick cape, the second floor added 5 bedrooms and 3 baths. The remaining brick on the lower facade was hand-painted by Jennifer Howard, after practicing the technique on the exposed chimney in the attic!
