This Key Largo home was purchased by a Miami family to have as their weekend retreat. The original façade being flat and lifeless was converted by the architecture team of Robert Barnes & Associates, giving the first impression of the home a complete transformation. The interior of the home, completed by KHI, was all about embracing the views of the bay and blending the exterior and interior spaces. A sophisticated, tropical oasis prevailed when whites and creams were used with accents of blue and cyan. There was a careful balance to struck of mixing both contemporary furnishings and natural materials like jute and sisal.
