New beachside residence to replace a 1880 cottage keeping the vintage charm. This house was raised and reconstructed with a lightly larger footprint. The house had no basement and did not take advantage of the wonderful southern L. I. Sound views across the street. The new home kept the same vernacular and details as the original structure and we reused as many items as we could such as the newel post and original front door.
