A small addition and remodel shows how it is possible to transform an outdated kitchen into an artful modern entertainment space. Adding some space and removing a wall created an opportunity for tall ceilings and a large island. Windows to the yard are placed behind cabinets at the sink. The improvement is obvious from the "before" photo.
