Kitchen/Family Room Expansion

Warren Architecture was asked to provide a connection between the existing Cape Cod style house and a detached two car garage. The L-shaped addition included a large Mudroom/Entry directly attached to the garage, which entered into a cozy Family Room anchored by a fieldstone fireplace. Two steps up lead to the new Breakfast area and KItchen. The Breakfast area occupies the space of the former Kitchen, while the KItchen expands to provide a more spacious environment reaching out to the existing wood burning stove.

Warren Architecture created this Holiday Greeting Card using the floor plan from this project. The project connected the existing Cape Cod house, which continues to the right of the card, with the existing garage that is just off the bottom of the card. Happy Holidays!
