A challenging, sloping lot required creative planning and close coordination between architect and builder. The Prairie style was chosen because its horizontal lines helped to mitigate the structure's vertical massing. Highlights include a huge great room with a two-sided fireplace, a light filled staircase with large windows, and a cozy screened porch built into the sloping back yard.
