An existing 1950s ranch was completely gutted and renovated, and a second story added. The existing house was closer to the street than allowed by current Zoning regs, so the encroaching portion had to be saved (new areas comply with current ordinance). First floor ceiling height was increased to 9'-0" and square footage was more than doubled. 4" Lap siding, tapered columns, and roof brackets complete the Craftsman style.
