A small lot and restricted footprint challenged us to design an efficient, yet open and airy modern home. Exposed steel structure at the front porch and in the family room help to tie interior and exterior together, as expanses of glass provide expansive views of the private yard. Large windows at the basement level take full advantage of the sloping lot.
