A landscape standard since 1996. 'Limelight' hydrangea is a panicle hydrangea that blooms in mid-late summer. As the flowers age, they turn from fresh green to creamy white, then finally to shades of pink, red, and burgundy. Because 'Limelight' flowers on new wood, it's a hydrangea that will bloom reliably every year, even in cold climates. It is hardy to USDA zone 3 and heat tolerant to AHS Zone 8.
