Winterberry Holly

Winterberry holly (Ilex verticillata) is a beautiful, adaptable native shrub, ideal for adding winter interest to gardens and landscapes. Both a male and female holly plant are needed to produce a display of berries; plan on planting one male for every five females for best results.
Winterberry holly is hardy to USDA zone 3, and can grow in partial shade to full sun.
