Lueders Lane Home Update

Our clients came to us after purchasing their new home, wanting to update a few things to make it “theirs.” They wanted to remove the ornate fireplace surround and tile floor to ceiling and wrap corners. Our clients choose a Sierra Blue Ledger classic natural quartzite tile for the fireplace surround. A simple white 12x24” Interceramic Snow Frost from ProSource Allen tile was used for the hearth. There was also a brown built-in hutch that they wanted to paint so that it matched the rest of the room. The cabinets are all matching now and the fireplace is definitely the beautiful focal point they were hoping for!
The master bathroom was very out of date, so that was their first priority and the largest part of the project. It had black galaxy granite with surrounding mirrors on all of the walls. They wanted to enlarge the shower, get rid of the huge step-up jacuzzi tub, and change the swing of the door to the closet and water closet. They also wanted all new cabinets and to create his and hers vanity sinks, if possible. We gutted the bathroom and started with a clean slate. Waypoint Shaker panel cabinets were installed and painted linen, with Super White Marble countertops. Payton Sconces in satin nickel were hung on either side of each vanity mirror. Mirabelle undermount vanity sinks were installed, finishing those off with sleek Brizo Virage faucets in brilliance brushed nickel. Capua Multi Perla ceramic tile was used on the shower walls, with the floor tile being Tesoro Nuvoloso Herringbone. A Mirabelle brushed nickel, square, custom showerhead and a Vilamonte brushed nickel handle were the hardware used in their new shower. The main flooring in the bathroom was IWould 6x24 glazed porcelain planks.
They wanted to refresh the kitchen by simply changing the backsplash and installing a new chandelier. Our clients picked out super cool allen + roth Imperial City Subway tile backsplash that really changed the entire look of the kitchen. Three simple Tamill clear with black drizzle 7” glass pendants were hung above the kitchen island, where there was once a glitzy chandelier. They also opted for a gas stove, so, we removed the existing electric cooktop and installed a gas stove instead. A metallic gray Blanco Valea Silgranit low-divide undermount sink replaced the existing stainless sink, and we installed an Addison Arctic stainless kitchen faucet to finish it off. These simple changes made a huge difference in the appearance of this kitchen.

They wanted to refresh the powder bath by removing the existing mirrors, sconces, vanity, toilet, and wallpaper. We kept the existing cabinets and sink and installed a Brizo Virage faucet in Brilliance Luxe Gold. Two Sinuous Gold Leaf sconces were hung on either side of the vanity mirror, and a beautiful Bellvale small chandelier was hung in the center of the bathroom! The wallpaper was removed and the room was painted a soft gray, really making the gold hardware and decor pop! It has a classic, timeless look now.
