Meydenbauer Bay Condo

The owners of this condo wanted a clean yet somewhat traditional aesthetic that would be amenable to displaying their artwork. Schultz Miller worked with architect Mark Nelson and with one of the owners who has a design background on a top-to-bottom remodel that includes new bathrooms and a new kitchen, pre-finished wide-plank flooring, lowered ceilings that accommodate a new HVAC system, and lots of built-in cabinetry. Cabinet doors conceal a TV over the fireplace, and a bookshelf swings open to reveal a hidden door. The crisp kitchen features a mix of wood lower cabinets and light gray, high-gloss upper cabinets. The modernist kitchen, with its open corner, gives way to traditional moldings and a chandelier over the dining table.
