Working with architect Rick Sundberg and interior designer Gregory Carmichael, the Schultz Miller team overcame enormous access and staging challenges on the extensive remodel of this 23rd-floor penthouse. The two-story unit atop the Bay Vista Tower has roughly 6,000 sq. ft. of interior space, 2,000 sq. ft. of exterior decks, and a 360° view of the Olympics, Cascades, Elliot Bay, downtown Seattle, and the nearby Space Needle. The sleek interior features Milestone benches and wall finishes, afromosia casework and paneling, and a state-of-the-art home automation system. The hot tub on the exterior deck had to be craned 300 ft. into position.
