Modern Custom Home II
This North Carolina family was tired of "typical" architecture and wanted something different. They came to us with a rather typical 3,500 sf program featuring mixture of private and public spaces and a beautiful piece of acreage in rural North Carolina with topography fit for a walkout basement and sweeping southern view.
The priorities in the design are a transition from those public and private spaces that incorporate outdoor living and the expansive views of their southern exposure. It is also important their family and their visitors have the same experience as they enter the home ... so the "journey" from the car to the home is important. The journey is design to frame your view of the home and the property as you experience both at the same time from the outside and inside.
Project is in the early stages of master planning.
