This home features passive-solar architecture (cross ventilation and shading devises), active domestic hotwater solar collectors, and high thermal mass flooring. Every inch of the floor plan was considered for its view to the idealistic country surroundings as well as its view to interior spaces. The modern farm house architecture on the exterior is continued on the inside with an open floor plan and "less is more" interior detailing, with a country flare.
