The North Carolina family reached out to us in mid-2018 wanting to do a significant addition to their existing home. After several rounds of design, it was obvious that their modern aesthetic and open-plan desires would not work with their existing home. After an exhaustive land search, the found a wonderful lot just down the street! The home features a massive open-plan designed for huge family gatherings that will spill out onto the pool deck. Design elements include open-riser modern stairs, modern cabinetry and oodles of sunlight. The family owns a stain-glass design company that will operate out of the "attached" shop featuring a full-height storefront window with an American Flag stained glass window.

The owner is the General Contractor and construction is planned for summer 2021.
