Modern Hall Bathroom

Our client had a very small bathroom on the lower floor of their home that doubled as a guest suite, with an open living area with fireplace, a guest bedroom, and this bathroom. The objective was to update the bathroom and the largest challenge was to work around existing plumbing that could not be relocated. You can see it on the before photos if you look at the floor. This was about 48"h with a triangular ledge.

Since we could not relocate this, we decided to make it into a feature of the shower by extending it to the ceiling and incorporating two shampoo niches with beautiful glass tiles.

Since the client favored contemporary materials, we used a vertical application of large cream colored tiles that have a luminescent surface. The floor tiles are the same series but in chocolate brown.

Some interesting elements in the room include:

- Square recessed lighting
- Floating vanity with two drawers cut around the plumbing pipes
- Contemporary tab pulls
- Leather finish countertop of Botticino Florita
- Wall mounted faucet
- Heated floors
- Illuminated mirror with a dimming feature
- Toilet seat with a nightlight
- Floating wall shelves
- Plumbing finished in polished nickel
