This historic Montecito Cottage was in desperate need of a makeover. The owner had very definite tastes when it came to style and specific plant choices. She had a very precise pallet of colors she wanted. This posed no problem because of the way we involve the customer, she approved each plant before it was used. In this way she got exactly what she wanted; a California version of a French Garden.
Later when I saw these before pictures, I had to ask Chris where this was, as I didn’t recognize it. I doubt you will either. Take a look.

Enclosed by tall hedges all around, this front yard is both private and lush. Layers of plants rise up and present themselves with a variety of shapes and colors.
