Moving in -- Glam transitional

A long-time client moves into a new home, and our job is to make everything old look new again. With almost no alterations to the new home, and very limited new purchases, we turn this all-white envelope into a colourful environment that makes the client feel very much at home.

The client's dining suite was moved into the new space, paired with lighting -- chandelier and table lamps -- from her old bedroom. The paneled accent wall is a soft back-drop, strategically left bare. The only new purchase here is the window drapery -- in shimmery grey silk.

This silver-leafed chest is one of a pair that once sat in the client's basement party room. Now it is repurposed as an informal bar area in the new dining room. The lucite and gold mirror from her old bedroom vanity now reflects simple silk drapery on the windows opposite.
